St. Louis Car Company Records
The St. Louis Car company formed in the late 1880’s and produced cars and street cars for commercial and civilian use. In 1917 a division of the company, The St. Louis Aircraft Corporation, produced aircraft for the United States and her allies. This collection is comprised of photographs and documents related to the production of aircraft, primarily the Curtiss JN-4 “Jenny” model of light airplane, originally designed by the Curtiss Aeroplane Company.
