Lockmiller, David A. Papers
This collection includes the research papers of David A. Lockmiller. He spent nearly 15 years researching and writing Enoch H. Crowder: Soldier, Lawyer and Statesman, which was published by the University of Missouri Studies in 1955. The book is a biography of General Enoch Crowder, administrator of the Selective Service Act. Lockmiller's research papers include correspondence from notable figures such as General John J. Pershing, and Presidents William H. Taft and Calvin Coolidge. Lockmiller donated his papers to the University of Missouri in August 1997.
