Description <p>This proclamation by King George V, named Enoch Crowder an Honorary Knight Commander of the Most Distinguished Order. Crowder, an Edinburg, Missouri, native, served as Judge Advocate General of the United States Army during World War I and drafted the Selective Service Act of 1917.</p>
