Missouri Over There

Jasper County - Carthage Memorial Hall

Carthage Memorial Hall, in Carthage Missouri was constructed in 1924 as a memorial to the soldiers from Jasper County who fought in WWI. The hall is used today as a wedding, reception, convention, and event hall, but hold on to its WWI history by displaying two artillery pieces outside the venue. Both were restored and maintained by Jasper County WWI Veteran Edwin Wiggins.
