[William] MITTELBACH TREASURER MISSOURI PHARMACEUTICAL ASSOCIATION Booneville, [Missouri], June 4 1918 My Dear Doctor: Yours to hand. I inclose check covering your warrant. Am waiting a day or two to collect up some of our adv. accts, then I will close my years work and get ready for the meeting. I have concluded to go via Moberly Sunday. Will very likely fall in with some of you St. Louis folks. No stenographer’s up here, that could do our work. I hope [Kansas City] can furnish some one This awful war is being felt in all directions and it wouldn’t surprise me to see a very small attendance. Mrs. Simonson is going with us again. I wrote Dr. Beal; also Prof Sayre. Will see you Sunday I hope Very Truly Yours [William] Mittelbach

Description William Mittelbach, treasurer of the Missouri Pharmaceutical Association, sent this letter to Dr. Henry Milton Whelpley. Dr. Whelpley was the Dean of the St. Louis College of Pharmacy and editor of the Meyer Brothers Druggist magazine. Mittelbach informed Dr. Whelpley of an upcoming meeting and mentioned the effects of the War.
