Vincent J. Grieshammer letter to Dr. Henry Milton Whelpley - June 1918

Transcript

June 1918 Mr. [Henry Milton] Whelpley St. Louis [Missouri] Dear Sir: I Received your letter the day we left Georgia, and was very sorry that I was not there to receive the copies of the “Druggist” which I surely miss. I left word for them to be forwarded to me, but as yet received no mail of any kind. We are now somewhere in France, after spending a short time in England, where we certainly had a good time. Since being over here, I think the Pharmacist will have some advantage over those without Medical experience. I am enjoying Camp life as much as ever, and sure feeling fine, but will be glad to get back to the good old U.S.A. I remain, yours truly, Vincent Grieshammer May Replacement Draft From Camp Greenleaf Med. Dept. Co. 8. American [Expeditionary] Forces France [censor’s signature]
