Transcript

Meyer [Brothers] Drug [Company] St. Louis, [Missouri] Dear Sir: - Have always had a desire to thank you for your kindness shown me while taking me through your plant last June. Resigned my position with Packe, Davis & Co on June 8, last in order to accept a position as Research chemist with the government. Since coming here I have been commissioned a Lieut in the Chemical Warfare Service N.A. At present we are spending practically all of our time on research work in the preperation of new gases, the so called smoke gases being prefered. Needless to say I am enjoying the work very much, however, would prefer work in synthetic drugs much better. Yours Very Truly Lieut. U.F. Kamm
