Harry B. Sanders letter to Dr. Henry Milton Whelpley - n.d.

Transcript

Dear Dr. Whelpley. I am going to ask you to publish this letter in Meyer Brother’s Druggist if you can spare the space. Also put in a couple of pictures of Florian and myself which I know you can do from our old Class Pictures. Doctor it is not egostical or selfish reasons that prompts me to ask this favor of you but the fact that after we once go over we may never return and I would Like for my wife to have a copy of same. And I am sure that Florian’s folks would appreciate same in the same way. This War is not a Picture Play and after one is in Camp awhile he realizes the seriousness of it which people on the outside never will. My home address is 2514 University Street St. Louis [Missouri]. Incidentally I do’nt believe that I ever informed you that I was married last April to Miss Johanna Cassens of the above address. If you do this little favor send her a marked copy of the DRUGGIST. Sincerely Harry B. Sanders.
