Description Albert W. Chase sent this letter to Dr. Henry Milton Whelpley. Dr. Whelpley was the dean of the St. Louis College of Pharmacy and editor of the Meyer Brothers Druggist magazine. Chase, Dr. Whelpley's cousin, described his experiences in the military. He wrote that his unit hauled ammunition to the front during the Chateau Thierry Drive and also served with a colored infantry regiment. This letter was written on American Y.M.C.A. letterhead.
