Mr. Raymond Tudor, 3626 Commonwealth Ave., Maplewood, [Missouri] LAWTON [Oklahoma] [October 6, 1917] 11-30A FORT SILL BRANCH This is really a good opportunity to pick up some change. I told one fellow & he said he would take a dozen. Get plants’ advice as to outfit. Camera will cost about $4.00. Then developing outfit, post cards (some in my drawer of [ms illegible: 1 wd]) (do not expose to light) paper, dark room light etc, see plant, tonite what is thinks if you are not sure about it. can sell any kind of pictures.

Description | This photographic postcard depicting soldiers drilling was sent by Owen "Glen" Tudor to his father while he was training at Fort Sill, Oklahoma, in October 1917. Tudor discussed selling photographs to fellow soldiers at camp. Tudor, a Maplewood, Missouri, native, served in the 128th Field Artillery in the 35th Division during World War I. |
