Headquarters 805th Pioneer Infantry Camp Pontanezen, France A.P.O. #716. 19 May 1919. From: Commanding Officer, 805th Pioneer Infantry To: Missouri Historical Society, St. Louis, [Missouri]. Subject: Missouri men in 805th Pioneer Infantry. 1. Enclosed are the names and addresses of the Missouri men of this regiment, pursuant to your letter of April 30th. 2. I wish to say that these men have done excellent work and that these men have done excellent work and they reflect the greatest credit upon their race and upon their state. 3. The list is furnished by organizations of the regiment, these being the Headquarters and Supply companies and companies A,B,C,D,E,F,G.H,I,K,L and M and Medical Detachment. C.B. Humphrey, Col. Inf.
