Charter VETERANS OF WORLD WAR I OF THE U.S.A. NATIONAL HEADQUARTERS Charter for Lawrence County Barracks Department of Missouri No. 1681 This is to Certify, that the National Board of Administration of the Veterans of World War I of the U.S.A. hereby grants a charter to Lawrence County Barracks No. 1681 Winfield Edwin Bartelsmeyer, Fredrick Bell, Franklin Charles Burlison, James Conrad Cantwell, Ross G. Catlett, Paul Leland Eubanks, Samuel F. Falmer, James B. Farrell, Oscar Edward Ford, Hal Dee Fossett, Oscar F. Fromke, Ben K. Gardner, George E. Gee, Max Gulick, Rex Gulick, Martin W. Hillhouse, Virgil Ray Jackson, Paul G. King, Volney D. Moore, William C. Parnell, Cecil D. Pennington, Charles Lester Porter, Lane Shaffer Clyde Marsh Temple, Russell B. Turk, Eddie Herman Veith, Gordon Edward Warford, Glen L. Williams for the formation of a Barracks of THE VETERANS OF WORLD WAR I OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA to be known as Lawrence County Barracks No. 1681, Mt. Vernon, Missouri This Charter is granted on the recommendation of the Department Organization and on the following terms and conditions: 1. All acts heretofore duly and properly taken for the formation of the above Barracks are recognized and confirmed by the National Board of Administration. 2. The above named Barracks shall uphold the declared principles of The Veterans of World War I of the United States of America and shall conform to and abide by the regulations and decisions of the Department Organization and of the National Board of Administration, or other duly constituted national governing body of The Veterans of World War I of the United States of America. 3. This charter is subject to revocation by the National Board of Administration on the recommendation of the Department Organization, or by such authority that may hereafter by established by the National Convention.
