Lawrence County Historical Society World War I Collection
The Lawrence County Historical Society in Mt. Vernon, Missouri contributed a variety of items from their World War I Collection. This includes photographs, certificates, and items from the United States Treasury Department concerning saving bonds and liberty loans. Brochures and pamphlets outlining how to form a War Savings Society and the importance of saving during war are included. Photographs of Lawrence County soldiers and citizens can also be viewed in this collection.
