Description	Bulletin Number 2 from the Adjutant General's office in Jefferson City, Missouri. An executive order stating that a medal will be awarded to each member of the National Guard of Missouri who served with a Missouri unit in the volunteer army of the United States during the War with Spain, or on the Mexican Border, or during World War I. This collection was compiled by Major Joseph Koch, a St. Louis, Missouri resident who served during the Punitive Expedition into Mexico with the First Missouri Infantry. During World War I, Major Koch was severely wounded in his left leg during the Meuse-Argonne Offensive while serving with the 35th Division, 137th Infantry.
