Photograph of Kansas City, Missouri native Burley Frost at camp in 1917. Frost served as a cook in Company A, 117th Field Signal Battalion, 42nd Division. He was killed in action November 8, 1918. This photograph belongs to a collection of photographs compiled by Ruby Garrett, a Kansas City, Missouri lawyer who served as Chief Signal Officer in the 42nd Division during World War I.
