Description James Robert Davis wrote this letter to his mother and other relatives from camp at Verdun, France on January 15, 1919. Davis informed his mother that he had received a box from her and that he had finally been able to take a bath. Davis also listed the places he had been and discussed other daily activities. This letter was written on Y.M.C.A. letterhead.
