(FOR OFFICIAL CIRCULATION ONLY.) [G. O. 35.] G.H.Q, AMERICAN EXPEDITIONARY FORCES, General Orders No. 35. FRANCE, February 21, 1919. 1. Divisions now in the American Expeditionary Forces, except those having Regular Army designations, will be returned to the United States in the order of arrival of their respective division headquarters in France. Exception to this rule will be made only when availability of rail and sea transportation, location relative to ports, or the controlling military situation make such exception necessary. 2. Combat troops not assigned to divisions will be returned in the order in which their services can be spared. 3. Services of supply troops, labor troops, etc., will be returned in the order in which their services can be spared, and, so far as possible, in the order of their arrival in France. 4. The following is the estimated shipping capacity that will be available by months, March to June, inclusive, for the return of troops to the United States. It includes that which is now known to be available and the German shipping which is to become available: March 212,000 April 221,000 May 248,000 June 270,000 5. Based on the above estimate, and under conditions set forth in Par. 1, divisions will return to the United States in the following order: March-27th, 30th, 85th, 37th, 91st Divisions. April
