Headquarters 35th Division American Expeditionary Forces 27th February 1919. ORDERS NO. 124 ) 1. The Division will start its move to the LE MANS Area on or about March 6, 1919. 2. All organizations will move by rail except the 110th Supply Train, which will move by road. 3. (a) The rail movement will be carried out in accordance with entraining table to be issued at a later date. (b) ENTRAINING POINTS: NONCOIS-TRONVILLE, SAMPIGNY and LEROUVILLE. (c) Probable duration of journey

[transportation] to LE MANS the unconsumed portion of any rations they may have on hand at the time of departure. These will be carried by the motor transport hauling regimental property, etc. 7. TROOPS: (a) TIME OF ARRIVAL: Troops will arrive at Entraining Points two (2) hours before the departure of trains. Upon arrival at the Entraining Point, the officers in command of the various units will report in person to the Officer in Charge of Entraining. (b) COMMAND OF TRAIN: The Senior Line Officer in charge of troops on each train will be the Train Commander. (c) REPORTS: The Train Commander will furnish the Officer in Charge of Entraining a statement showing the number of officers and men. Officers in charge of detachments will give the necessary information to the Train Commander. (d) TRAIN QUARTERMASTER: The officer to act as Train Quartermaster will be appointed by the Commanding Officer of the units as indicated in the Entraining Schedule. The name of this officer will be submitted to the office of G-1 before 10:00 A.M., March 5, 1919. (e) DUTIES OF THE TRAIN QUARTERMASTER: The Train Quartermaster will be responsible for the distribution and loading of rations and bedding hay, and arranging for the purchase of liquid coffee. He will draw funds for this purpose and disburse them as directed in paragraph 10. He will also draw kerosene for the for the lanterns and creolin for disinfecting the urinal cans and chlorinated lime for sterilizing drinking water. (f) LOADING AND UNLOADING DETAILS: Each organization will furnish its own loading and unloading details, and such other details as the Officer in Charge of Entrainment may call for. 8. BILLETING PARTIES: See Part II, Annex #1. 9. RATIONS: (a) THIS AREA: The unconsumed portion of the rations remaining on hand will be carried by troops to the Entraining Point and Prepared for consumption by the kitchens at these points, time permitting; if not, they will be carried to the LE MANS Area on the trains. (b) TRAVEL RATIONS: Three (3) days

For information or assistance in connection with any difficulty that arises the Commanding Officer should apply at a station to the R.T.O., or, if there be none, to the French Commissaire Militaire, or, if there be none, to the Chef de Gare (Station Master). 16.
