A.G.O. Pd. B/HR December 1, 1917. Commanding Officer, Chanute Field, Rantoul, Illinois. Secretary of War directs assignment First Lieutenants Jack Brackett Powhatan H. Clarke Roy Robinson Lawrence Kinnaird and Frederick H. Morlsan Signal Reserve Corps Aviation Section now at your station to active service and that they proceed Garden City, Long Island New York Reporting upon Arrival Commanding Officer, Aeronautical Concentration Camp for duty with a squadron. Description Powhatan Hughes Clarke served with the 21st Aero Squadron and the Labor Bureau A.E.F. during World War I. He died from tuberculosis August 20, 1920. These military orders assigned Powhatan Clarke to active service and required him to report to the Aeronautical Concentration Camp in Garden City, New York.
