Navy Dept 1318 Majestic Bldg. Milwaukee, [Wisconsin] May 16th, 1919. Rear Admiral W.S. Dyson, c/o Bureau of Steam Engineering, Navy Department, Washington, D.C. My dear Admiral, So long ago that I am ashamed to think of it, you asked me for our standard allowances and tolerances. At that time we were bringing these up to date, and, for one reason and another, the matter was delayed. Enclosed you will find two prints each of our sheets T-17 and T-18, giving you this information. I trust that these will be of some use to you. They are up to date. With apologies and kind regards, I am Very truly yours, Max Rotter, V.P. in Chg. of Engrg. MR.BG
