Description This is a photograph of two pilots. Transcription on reverse side reads: "Captain James whom you saw killed, a fine chap. Killed at Joyce Green, England, May 1918." This photo was taken from a scrapbook compiled by Carroll H. Bunch. Bunch was born in Clay County, Missouri and served as a Private in the 149th Aero Squadron during World War I.
