Sunday June 9 Dear Home, Another week has passed and I am still well. We are working hard but all are standing it as well as could be expected. Today I have spent in washing and airing everything I have. Never worry about me because I am coming along fine. There is only one thing I look forward to and that is the end of the war, which I think is near. I have not heard from you yet but hear from the Hunters every week. I have heard from the Palmers once since I got here. All letters I have gotten were written to the last camp I was in. Perhaps you were afraid to

write there. I have not worried about any thing but I have thought of you and of the N. of M. You know next Thursday is the day set for graduation. If I were only there I would get my portion of the sheep skin. We have to make our letters short because there isn't much we can tell so will close for this time. Corp. Hampton B. Ball
