Leather Leggings

Details

Title Leather Leggings
Description These leather puttees are the stronger and more durable version of the more common leg wrap style puttee most infantry soldiers were issued. Examples like this were generally reserved for commissioned officers and higher ranking military officials. They provided more protection from burrs and barbed wire than their counterparts, but were not as warm, so some infantry soldiers preferred the leg wrap puttees.
