Mapping Monuments and Memorials in Missouri

You can help Over There: Missouri and the Great War Staff find monuments and memorials to WW1 service members.
Over There: Missouri and the Great War staff are thrilled to announce we are in the early phases of locating, identifying, photographing, and mapping monuments and memorials to WWI service members throughout the entire state of Missouri. This massive undertaking could not be done by our staff alone, we need your help. For anyone who lives in or frequently travels through the state of Missouri, if you come across, or know of a monument or memorial to WWI service members, please contact us and tell us what county, city, town, and location we can find it. We will then send one of our staff from across Missouri to take photographs and gather needed information such as veteran’s names. The images and information will be published online in the future in the form of an interactive map displaying all the monuments and memorials to Missouri WWI service members. You can also take the photographs yourself and submit them to us (no cell phones please). Please send your information to missourioverthere@gmail.com, we look forward to seeing what you find!
