Missouri Over There

Randolph County WWI Doughboy Statue

Description

Located in Rothwell Park, in Moberly, Missouri stands a Doughboy Statue dedicated to the service and sacrifice of Randolph County's WWI veterans. Originally installed November 11, 1927 by the Tabatha Walton chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, the statue fell into disrepair and was moved to the Randolph County Historical Society. A replacement statue was dedicated May 29, 2001 and stands in its current location amid other veteran memorials such as one to WWII General Omar Bradley.
