This gazebo was originally constructed in 1921 and was formally dedicated on November 11, 1958 by the American Legion, Clem P. Dickinson Post 14, and was also remodeled that year. It was dedicated to honor the Veterans of Henry County on July 6, 1996, where it was originally a memorial to WWI Veterans.
