World War I Photographs in Palmyra
This collection features photographs taken in Palmyra, Mo. during World War I. Photos of a Red Cross parade vividly illustrate how one community in Missouri supported the war effort. There are also several images related to the formation of the Boots-Dickson American Legion Post. The post honored Wade Boots who was killed in France on November 3, 1918.
