Somewhere in France July 14, 1918. Dear Brother; I received your letter dated June 13th a few days ago. Sure glad to hear from you. It sure takes a letter a long time to reach me out here. One can just about figure a months time. I write you a letter answering once a week but will try to write oftener if I can, for I imagine a months time is a pretty long wait. I was glad to hear everybodys well out there, and with me its the same. I suppose you and Papa have been pretty busy the last two weeks thrashing and etc. Write and tell me how the wheat turned out.
