Somewhere in France July 7th 1918 Mr. A.J. Fox, St. Louis, [Missouri] Dear Artie: I received your letter of the 5th [ms illegible: 1 wd] and sure was very glad to hear from you. I am well and as ever feeling fine. We sure are having swell weather here. Our camp is located near a village and sure is a dandy location altho not very far from the front line trenches.
