[page 2] We closed the Infirmary at Camp 7, about ten days ago and I felt certain that we would return to the good old U.S.A., at once but no such good luck I was sent to the Base Dispensary at St. Nazaire and from there was transferred to Camp Monstoir and I am now looking after the Sanitation of that camp, but expect to be sent back to St. Nazaire for duty in a couple days as the request has been made for my return to that

[page 3] station. Haven’t the least idea when I will land in good old St. Louis, as I heard this morning that I am here for an indefinite period and I guess that means until the finish of the A.E.F. The rainy season is with us again and I think signs of Sunny France have disappeard for a few days at least. Best Regards to Mr. Reinhardt and hoping to have the pleasure of calling on you soon. I remain Vincent J. Grieshammer
