[November] 17, 1918. Dr. [Henry Milton] Whelpley. Editor Meyer Brothers Druggist. St. Louis, [Missouri] Dear Doctor, As yet I have not received my Meyer Brothers Druggist and its delay may be due to my transfer, so kindly send it to my home address. 3009 Salena Str., St. Louis, [Missouri], from where I will be sure to receive it. I am now stationed at M.O.T.C. Fort Riley, [Kansas] Prov. Field Hosp. Co F. and to make a long story short will say, the army is no place for a druggist.
