Description Philip M. Chiles sent this letter to Dr. Henry Milton Whelpley. Dr. Whelpley was the dean of the St. Louis College of Pharmacy and editor of the Meyer Brothers Druggist magazine. In this letter, Chiles explained that he had been transferred from the San Francisco Naval Training Station to the University of Minnesota, School of Medicine for a six month course in bacteriology, anatomy, and several other subjects. This letter was written on Hotel Radisson letterhead.
