Camp Funston [Kansas] [November] 5 - 1917 Prof [Henry Milton] Whelpley Dear Sir: Is there no reserve for Pharmacists Similar to that for Physicians and Dentist in the Military rulings. Since coming to camp I have been unable to keep posted, and am anxious for the above Information I am a 1914 Graduate of the St. Louis College of Pharmacy. Yours Truly Monte E. Description Monte E. Barnes sent this letter to Dr. Henry Milton Whelpley. Dr. Whelpley was the dean of the St. Louis College of Pharmacy and editor of the Meyer Brothers Druggist magazine. Barnes asked Dr. Whelpley if there was a reserve for pharmacists in the military similar to the ones for physicians and dentists. This letter was written on Y.M.C.A. letterhead.
