Dear Doctor I am finally located at Camp Funston our Co is Co 9. 164th Depot Brigade, I saw Dickerson just Before He was examined so if you hear anything from him Let Me Know His address out Here as We are still in Detention and I guess He is, Well I Like Army life as far as I went But of course Theres a whole lot more to it than just a shot or 2 in the arm. But that will come later, all we Been doing so far is Kitchen Duty & Porter Work But of Course that all comes in a Rookies life, I hope everything is OK at MB, Now Doctor you can Drop me a line at above (Co 9 164th Depot Brig. Description | King Harrigan sent this postcard to Dr. Henry Milton Whelpley. Dr. Whelpley was the dean of the St. Louis College of Pharmacy and editor of the Meyer Brothers Druggist magazine. In this postcard, Harrigan wrote about life in the camp. He explained that he was still in detention and doing kitchen and porter work. This was written on a Meyer Brothers Druggist postcard. |
