U. S. Naval Forces Operating in European Waters Sixth Battle Squadron Grand Fleet U. S. S. WYOMING NEW York. [New York] C.O Postmaster 31 December 1918. St Louis College of Pharmacy St Louis, [Missouri] Gentlemen: I am enclosing M. O. $2.00, to Secretary of [Missouri] Board of Pharmacy for renewal certificate #19071. I dont know who the Secy’ is, and I havent my old renewal, so am trusting you will do me the favor of forwarding this to who ever the Sec’y is. There is not much for a Pharmacist in the Navy, I hope in the future legislation, something may be done to give the Pharmacist an opportunity to assist the Government in same capacity as Dental Corp, and Medical Corp. However I am in the Reserves, and will be out soon, and I was fortunate to be on this ship, and present at the surrender of the German Fleet in the North Sea, so I am fully satisfied with my stay in the Navy. I wish the College a very prosperous New Year, and trust you have a good attendance this term. Sincerely yours Davis C. James D C James Class [1912] P.S. Please mail the renewal to Mrs J H James, Yazoo City, [Mississippi].
