I am working in the clothing supply room and like my work very much but I would sooner be working in St. Louis at the drug business. Duties call me so I am still working for Uncle Sam. The Meyer Brothers Druggist is forwarded to me each month, I sure enjoy reading it although I am not able to use the useful

topics which I read. I was not overseas but was waiting my turn and was willing to go but the armistice kept me on this side. Our hospital accomodates 700 wounded but there are only 400 men here now, nearly all of these are able to take care of themselves. There are many interesting stories told by the wounded men. I sure wish I was attending college this term and often think about the boys who were my classmates. give my regards to the boys and the faculty. Your former student H.P. Schlagenharf 4530 Ellis Av.
