Formerly at Houston [Texas] Antofagasta, Chili [October] 15 Meyer [Brothers] Druggist: - gentlemen: From Dr. & Druggist to 2d officer of a 5000 ton steamship is some change, as you will admit, but I have reverted to the type of my early boyhood days & am helping out. From the news here – which I doubt – the war must be over. If not we will bring north enough nitrate to blow up a lot of germans – G. V. Whitney.
