June 12, [1918] Dear Doctor: - [ms illegible: 2 wds] magazines and was glad to get to [ms illegible: 2 wds] good journal, it put the old life back in me. We are drilling steady every day the sure are keeping us busy. I never saw anything that looked like Hospital work as yet, but hope to soon. We have 21 days to put in detention and after that we will be placed. Will write you a letter later.
