Dear Friend [October] 20, I believe. I have spent 5 long days up here. Cant leave campus for 3 weeks. about four hundred fifty arrived when I did and now 50 are in the hospital one died last night. It wouldnt be so bad if it didnt get so cold in the morning it gets mighty raw out in a tent. Talk about dishwashing about 40 of us had to clean up after 1000. Gather up knives & forks in bushel baskets and spill them in a tub Wash tables top & bottom also floor. I only stay here 2 months and then the problem is where do we go from here. I haven’t been shot yet and have not suit yet. Well you want to write soon. I remain Findly Waters
