Dr. [Henry Milton] Whelpey, 2342 Albion Place, St. Louis, [Missouri] Dear Sir: Not having a reply to our letter of the 30th, we take it for granted that it is miscarried, and am enclosing copy. Dr. [Henry Milton] Whelpey, 2342 Albion Place, St. Louis, [Missouri] Dear Sir: Knowing how valuable your “United States [Pharmacopeia]’ is to the Drug Buyer, and as we have daily need for it here in the Bureau of Purchases at Headquarters in the Drug and Hospital Department, we are writing to ask if you will donate one for the Red Cross work. Our funds, of course are all donated, as are practically all services, and if you can see your way clear to supply us with one of your Books, we shall surely appreciate it. Very truly yours, Asso. Director, Bureau of Purchases.
