[March 22, 1918] Dear Mother, As you see we have missed St. Louis. We are now headed for Chicago. Everything going fine. Had good nights sleep in a lower. Fine weather. Good bunch. Tell Plant & all, hello. no permission to leave train at any time so mite not get to see Chris. more later. Your loving son Glen
