Description Wagner Electric Corporation was an electric equipment manufacturing firm established in 1891 by H.A. Wagner and Ferdinand Schwedtmann. During World War I, it stopped manufacturing motors for small appliances and began manufacturing armaments and munitions for the Allies. These photographs of Wagner Electric Company employees developing armaments and munitions, were created from the actual glass plate negatives. Cyanotype proofs of the photographs with captions are also available.
