MOODY, Manager Headquarters for Commercial and Mining Men Redding, California Sept, 10, 1919 Dear Mother, Moved again and I don’t know how long I will stay but I suppose that I will be here as long as there is a forest patrol. They send me down here to take charge of some De Havillands. None of the fellows here knew anything about them. I left Eugene Ore. Day before yesterday and got in here at 9:30 am yesterday morning.

I think things are going to be fine here when I get straightened out. The officers are dandy scouts and they treat me fine. I like the officer in command very well and he lets me have things my own way.
