[Kyllburg, Germany] [December 21, 1918] Dear Folks: This is part of the railroad on which we are working - we have a tiny room in this town. The river here is very small but tis mighty picturesque. | Description | Charles Stevenson sent this postcard of a scene from Kyllburg to his family back home. He informed his family that the railroad in the picture was the one on which he was working. Stevenson enlisted in Kansas City, Missouri and became attached to Company A, 314th Engineers at Camp Funston, Kansas. Stevenson was shipped overseas on June 12, 1918 where he remained for the duration of the war. He arrived back in the United States on May 26, 1919. |
