Kenneth is with me and will be so all the way. No cabling from Europe is permitted an enlisted man, so I guess you will have to wait. We will be here a full week I think. At any rate, mail will be forwarded to us always. My best love, Charlie

Description | Charles Stevenson wrote this letter addressed to people about his tour of New York City. Stevenson enlisted in Kansas City, Missouri and became attached to Company A, 314th Engineers at Camp Funston, Kansas. Stevenson was shipped overseas on June 12, 1918 where he remained for the duration of the war. He arrived back in the United States on May 26, 1919. |
