Talk about hills - Germany sure has them. This is a most beautiful view when covered with snow as I have seen it. this is one of the many little towns along the River Kyll. Description | Charles Stevenson sent this postcard of Cordel to his family back home. Stevenson enlisted in Kansas City, Missouri and became attached to Company A, 314th Engineers at Camp Funston, Kansas. Stevenson was shipped overseas on June 12, 1918 where he remained for the duration of the war. He arrived back in the United States on May 26, 1919. |
