I am sorry you dident hear from me I shurly Wrote a lot of letters you dident get. suppose they either got lost or dident pass the censor. The boys name you mentioned did write home if his folks dident hear from him it is not his fault he is well as I saw

him about two days ago we played at the place where his Co. is stationed about 3 K.M. from where we are we play all standard overtures. and opera selections also the latest rag hits. The later is liked best by most of the soldier I think. I am in the best of health play a concert every evening have a splendid band. I heard from Flo Kenton she told me about the new minster. To day is cloudy and chilly. We have lots of rain. I can understand French pretty well you shurly will get some of my letters I cant see Why you dident hear when Pearl did I also got a letter from her she is having trouble With her glases. I have a helmet steel looks like a turtle summers must be fat. keep her practiseing lots. No I dont play any violin guess I
