I am glad to know Sommers is getting along well with her music She must practise lots and keep her at it every day I have not made any allotment as We have no blanks at the office but I can get

“Money Orders” now. I got a letter from Tessa 1 wk ago she said they were expecting a baby. Grandpa Emette Shaw. Uncle Joe is a Great Grandpa now. I Will play no violin while in France have no time for such I Rec’d a letter from C.A. Shaw’s youngest girl She has a school for next year. One Can see more motor trucks in 1 day some times than you can in [Kansas City] in 3 day’s I gets dark where we are now about 8.30 mabe I will see Johnson I dont think so though. How Was the wheat crop this year. It seems strange you havent heard but once from me I guess School begins soon this Week. I thought of Annettes Death it dosent seem so long ago time certainly does fly. goes pretty fast here. The musicans are attached to the Hospital Corps on the field so you know What their duties are We are playing Jolly Robbers Overture tonight I am not improving much
