I am shure you have had a splendid visit in [Colorado] I am at the present writeing this letter in my little puptent we are so fussy with the war we havent ben photographed for a long time. we are doing good work towards ending this thing. I dont think the people in [Bonner Springs] look very far ahead they seem to be of a selfish nature I can see no reason why they wouldent consent to your practiseing upon the organ wouldent (do it any harm

[page 2] There is no chance of me being a good Violinist because these years are just when the muscles get their growth and get set. so I will be just an ordaniary Orchestra musician even then I can make as much at that, as any other trade averages. we are haveing lots of rain the ground is hard but we have our little tents. give Mr and Mrs Brown my best regards
