Kansas City, Mo Dec. 30 - 17. Dear Walter - : Have not heard from you since I last wrote, but will write anyway. How are you? I am all right. Is very cold here, about 9 below zero. It has been trying to sleet all evening, but without success. How is the

weather over there? You no doubt know that Gladys Wither and Bill Frederick were married the 23rd of this month. He is in some camp in [Oklahoma] Was over to Grandma’s today. Inez and her husband are O.K. Went down home Saturday night and stayed till Wednesday, for over Xmas. Santa was real nice to me.

Dont you know I forgot to enclose my picture in the last letter I sent you so am sending it this time sure It is not very good tho. Haven’t been downtown to many of the shows lately. The street car service is to bad. It is bad enough going to work. Went to the Empress Friday night. All of the shows are playing almost the same as they did last winter. I must close, answer when you can. Always Evangeline.
